Antrag: Einrichtung von Park & Ride Parkplätzen

P&R-Parkplätze als Verknüpfungsstelle von Individualverkehr und ÖPNV sowie zur Steigerung der Auslastung unseres Stadtbusses, der ab Februar 2022 im 1/2-stunden Takt fährt.

Beantragt: 11.11.2021 - Behandlung im Haupt- und Finanzausschuss am 2. Dezember 2021

Ergebnis: Beim Badria wird ein Park & Ride-Parkplatz ausgewiesen und entsprechende Beschilderung angebracht.

Sehr geehrter Herr Bürgermeister, sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

die Stadtratsfraktion von CSU/Wasserburger Block beantragt die Schaffung eines P&R-Parkplatzes in Nähe der Stadtbus-Haltestelle Badria. Die Verwaltung wird gebeten, in Abstimmung mit den Stadtwerken, ein geeignetes Grundstück zu bestimmen, es zweckentsprechend vorzubereiten und eine wegweisende Beschilderung anzubringen.

Durch Werbemaßnahmen (Organisation eines Aktionstags beispielsweise in Zusammenarbeit mit dem wfv etc., Artikel in Heimatnachrichten und weiteren Medien etc.) soll auf die Neuerung in Stadt und Region hingewiesen werden.

Begründung:

Wasserburg ist als Einkaufsstadt bei den Stadtbürgern aber auch in der Region bekannt und beliebt. Um die Attraktivität des ÖPNV innerhalb der Stadt zu steigern, wird ab Februar 2022 ein Halbstundentakt des Stadtbusses eingeführt. Dieses Angebot soll zur Reduktion des Individualverkehrs und damit zur Verminderung von Lärm und Abgasen im Stadtgebiet führen.

An den Endstationen des Stadtbusses am Badria und am Bahnhof Reitmehring könnten die P&R-Parkplätze eine wesentliche Verknüpfung von Individualverkehr und ÖPNV darstellen und zu Zeitersparnis für die Nutzer, Reduzierung des Parksuchverkehrs im Stadtgebiet und Steigerung der Auslastung des Stadtbusses führen. Vorteile für die Bürger, für Kunden der Wasserburger Betriebe und Dienstleister, für die Gäste unserer Altstadt, aber auch für im Stadtgebiet berufstätige Personen und für das Klima.
